Manipulative Play Leaders
Meet the Manipulative Play Leaders
Hello! We are the Manipulative Play Leaders. We work with Miss Seddon to develop and lead lunchtime manipulative play activities at Freegrounds Junior School. We receive training around manipulative play activities and teach our new skills to others. We do our best to ensure that we consistently display our school’s learning behaviours as well as our positive behaviour code.

Our Role and Responsibilities
The Manipulative Play Leaders set an example for others. They support other children to participate in manipulative play activities at lunchtimes.
We believe our job is to:
- Be a positive role model for all children in school
- Encourage all pupils to participate in manipulative play activities at lunchtime
- Identify ways to improve the manipulative play provision for all pupils
- Share our own ideas, and other pupils’ with adults
- Consistently display the best of our school's learning behaviours as well as our positive behaviour code
