Meet the Lunchtime Play Leaders
Hello! We are the Lunchtime Play Leaders. We work with Mrs Blake to develop and lead lunchtime play activities at Freegrounds Junior School. We do our best to ensure that we consistently display our school’s learning behaviours as well as our positive behaviour code.

Our Role and Responsibilities
The Lunchtime Play Leaders set an example for others. They help support adults in running games and activities at lunchtimes.
We believe our job is to:
- Be a positive role model for all children in school
- Encourage all pupils to participate in activities at lunchtime
- Identify ways to improve the lunchtime play provision for all pupils
- Share our own ideas, and other pupils’ with adults
- Consistently display the best of our school's learning behaviours as well as our positive behaviour code
News and Updates
Thanks to the generous donations from our parents and wider community, we have lots of new games which are available for all children to play with at lunchtimes.
We have also purchased some tuff trays so children can access lego and other resources outside during lunchtime.
