Welcome to the Year 6 transition page. We are all excited to see you back at school in September. We have a great year planned with some new exciting topics as well as some of our favourites, such as Fantastic Beasts.

We hope this page will provide you with some useful information ahead of the academic year and give you a glimpse into some of the learning that will take place in Year 6.

	Hello Juniper class, It was lovely seeing you all again on transition day and I can’t wait for September. Year 6 is such an exciting year with so many opportunities for you. From house captain elections, to production and the residential, there will be plenty of chances to see you all shine. One thing I am particularly looking forward to next year is our ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ topic. You will get the chance to be really creative and invent your own magical creature. It’s always so much fun! I hope you have a lovely summer holidays and I shall see you soon.
	Hello Hawthorn Class, I’m Miss Hedges and I will be your teacher in Year 6. Year 6 is such an exciting year with so many great things to look forward to including Little Canada, performing a production and lots of amazing topics. I am really looking forward to getting to you know you all better, I hope you all have a fantastic summer and I will see you in September!
	Hello Sycamore Class! I am Mrs Rident and I will be teaching you on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. You are so lucky to be in Year 6 next year, we have so much to look forward to in your last year at Freegrounds. Have an amazing summer, I am looking forward to our trip across to the Isle of Wight already!
	Hello Sycamore class, I’m Mrs Davies and I will be teaching you on a Thursday and a Friday. I’ll be in school all week so I’m sure I’ll see you on other days too. Year 6 is such a fantastic year and I can’t wait for September. I am really looking forward to going to Little Canada with you, exploring our topics together and seeing you grow in independence and confidence through the year. There is so much to look forward to!
